Corporate Social Responsibility

OMX CSR policy was created in 2002 and was both initiated and ratified by OMX Board of Directors. OMX's Board of Directors initiated this policy work, ratified the policy and will continue to do so on an annual basis. The policy covers five areas within which OMX has a particular focus on ethical issues. These are openness and diversity, a good working environment, proud partners, marketplaces with integrity and forerunners of corporate ethics. OMX supports and abides by the OECD guidelines for multinational companies as well as the ten principles outlined in the United Nations' Global Compact. In addition, all OMX employees involved in sales should be familiar with the "Rules of Conduct to Combat Extortion and Bribery" of the International Chamber of Commerce. OMX has also adopted the Swedish Government's "Global Responsibility" initiative, which is also based on the OECD's guidelines and the UN's Global Compact.
