Listing ETF's in Stockholm
The fund listETF is an abbreviation for Exchange Traded Funds, i.e. a fund that is traded on the Exchange as shares but with an allocation similar to funds. ETFs fall within the Investment Funds Act (2004:46) and the fund company is supervised by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority or the relevant authority or authorized body in their respective home state. A decision regarding the listing of fund units is taken by the Exchange following an application from the fund company. Special attention is given to the content of the information brochure.
The first ETF was listed in 2000 on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. Today, eleven ETFs are traded on the NASDAQ OMX Stockholm; OMXS30 Double Long ETF, OMXS30 Double Short ETF, XACT BEAR, XACT BEAR 2, XACT BULL , XACT BULL 2 XACT F Euro, XACT F Sweden, XACT Nordic 30, XACT OMXS30 and XACT OMXSB Application documents - Listing application from the fund company
- A copy of the permit from the Financial Supervisory Authority or equivalent foreign authority
- Up-to-date information brochure, annual report, and half year report
- The form "Facts about the fund" (available from the Exchange)
- A certificate of incorporation
- A certificate of distribution of the fund units or a market maker agreement
