Nasdaq has managed critical marketplace operations since 1985 and currently provides full IT service management to 25 marketplaces, representing 60,000 trading hours annually.
We offer two service models:
Software Support Services are geared to organizations that want to run and maintain their own marketplace operations and have the resources and experience to do so. Nasdaq provides the software system, testing and delivery, service desk support, incident and problem management, and maintenance software releases. In addition, we provide all training to ensure that the customer acquires the necessary competence to independently manage and operate the technical solution.
Marketplace Operations Services is often the preferred service model for companies that need to focus on their core businesses, such as start-ups or other companies without the inclination to manage their own marketplace environment. Nasdaq provides an integrated managed solution, including complete service management of all system components. Service management is structured with well defined interfaces and procedures for interaction between the client business organization and the technology hosting service and includes required infrastructure configuration and support. Co-location services are also available.
