NASDAQ OMX facilitates the collection and dissemination of security master information and daily valuation data for money market funds, mutual funds, unit investment trusts (UITs), annuities and structured products. NASDAQ OMX captures the inbound daily price data from investment companies and sponsors via the Mutual Fund Quotation Service (MFQS). From the MFQS system, NASDAQ OMX generates two data products:
Mutual Fund Dissemination Service (MFDS)
This data feed product carries daily price data, dividends and distributions for more than 26,000 mutual funds, money market funds, UITs, annuities and structured products. MFDS disseminates the price data on a real-time basis as it is entered by MFQS pricing agents.
MFQS Daily List / MFQS Registration Service
Offered as a complement to MFDS, this web-based product provides advance notification of MFQS security additions, deletions and name/symbol changes. Through the new MFQS Registration Service interface, firms also receive access to an enhanced MFQS symbol directory as well as MFQS financial documentation repository.

- Promote the widespread distribution of fund price data — including net asset values (NAVs), offer/market prices and dividends — via the print and electronic media at no charge to the end user
MFQS Registration Service / MFQS Daily List:
- Provide firms with advance notification of MFQS corporate actions, including new registrations, name/symbol changes, mergers/ acquisitions and liquidations
- Provide a centralized repository for financial documentation – such as prospectus, annual reports, semi-annual reports – for those mutual funds, money market funds, UITs, annuities and structured products registered with MFQS
