Overview

NASDAQ OMX has been serving the US energy market since 2006, and we currently support physical transactions in a number of commercial trading hubs and load zones from day-ahead transaction out through 2016.

The power transactions cover a wide array of tenors including day-ahead, weeks, moths, quarters, and years out to 2016. The products can either be executed as standard block contract - on-peak, off-peak - or as shaped load profiles (down to hourly granularity) for any tenor.

NASDAQ OMX works closely with market participants to ensure that our product suite constantly is enhanced to meet new market needs.
