NASDAQ OMX CEO Bob Greifeld weighs in on Sarbox and Immigration Reform for Jobs
On October 4th I had the opportunity to contribute an opinion piece to The Wall Street Journal with suggestions on ways in which we can help to foster job growth. Job creation is an issue that is obviously of critical importance to our nation’s economic health, and is an issue that I hear about frequently when speaking with other CEOs and business leaders. Several steps that we feel are important to this initiative and which are outlined in the op-ed below are reforming Sarbanes-Oxley, making venture capital more accessible, and opening our doors to more highly skilled workers.
I look forward to hearing your feedback on this and on other topics of importance to the issuer community. I also encourage you to explore our Public Policy Advocacy website to learn more about our efforts and how we can serve you better.
Best regards,
Bob Greifeld
