NASDAQ OMX Transaction Services, U.S. (NTS) operates the largest market center for trading U.S. equities. The trading platform fully integrates order display, execution and trade reporting for all NASDAQ-, NYSE-, AMEX- and other regional-listed exchanges. NTS offers innovative products and services to keep up with the continually changing equities and options markets.

NASDAQ OMX also operates a second Reg NMS protected quote for trading U.S. equities via the recent acquisition of The Boston Stock Exchange, renamed NASDAQ OMX BX (BX).

NASDAQ OMX acquired the Boston Stock Exchange’s holding company; BSX Group LLC, which formerly operated the Boston Stock Exchange’s equities market; the Boston Stock Exchange Clearing Corporation; and BOX Regulation. NASDAQ OMX did not acquire Boston Stock Exchange’s interest in the Boston Options Exchange (BOX).


NASDAQ OMX plans to rename the exchange NASDAQ OMX BX ("BX") and use it to offer a platform for trading U.S. equities – allowing for a separate Reg NMS protected quote.
